AyA stands for Aguirre and Aranzabal. This gun manufacturer was founded in 1917 and continues to offer quality firearms today. They specialize in shotguns that are crafted for reliability, quality as well as style and elegance so they are also visually appealing. The guns are crafted in Eibar Spain. Their shotguns are particularly well suited for upland bird hunting, and clay target shooting. They do not mass produce guns for sale and during the mid 1990’s their major product was the side-by-side gun. They have since expanded their offerings to include sidelock and boxlock side-by-sides as well as over/unders. They are currently owned by the Aranzabal family, but maintain the AyA logo with trademark lion.
